The
Weakest Link in most FWD Honda's the drivetrain is the
first thing to fail. The stock halfshafts and stock
clutch cannot take the abuse for long. Laskey Racing
provides the latest in drivetrain upgrades. LSD's, Clutch
Kits, and heavy duty axles. Tell us your HP goals and
we'll tell you exactly what you need. Drag Racing or
Road Racing we have your drivetrain covered. |

The Driveshaft Shop
develops many half shaftsfor the fast street
car and most all motor cars or all out turbocharged
Drag Cars. In the early years of The Driveshaft
Shop's axle development, they noticed the
outer cv gets much more stress than the inner,
due to a higher load there. These axle systems
have a larger outer cv to handle the higher
stresses these cars put out. Offered in different
stages they offer solutions for almost all
setups.

The AutoTech Wavetrac®
differential uses a patent pending design
to improve grip in low traction conditions.
Precisely engineered, converging / diverging
wave profiles are placed on one side gear
and its mating preload hub. As the two side
gears rotate relative to each other, each
wave surface climbs the other, causing them
to move apart. This imparts an increased normal
force through the side gears, increasing the
bias ratio as a function of load. This increase
occurs automatically only when conditions
find it necessary, and it 'reverts' back to
its nominal bias ratio quickly and seamlessly,
maintaining optimal drivability and performance
at all times. It's like having two differentials
in one: you get the benefit of a higher bias
ratio when needed without detriment to the
car's handling.

The Quaife Differential
powers both drive wheels under nearly all
conditions, instead of just one. With an ordinary
open differential, standard on most cars,
a lot of precious power is wasted during wheelspin
under acceleration. This happens because the
open differential shifts power to the wheel
with less grip (along the path of least resistance).
The Quaife, however, does just the opposite.
It senses which wheel has the better grip,
and biases the power to that wheel. It does
this smoothly and constantly, and without
ever completely removing power from the other
wheel.
